Kauai is breathtakingly beautiful. We purchased a resort pass for a daybed at the Royal Sonesta which is walking distance from the port. Highly recommend because the pool and beach are fantastic here. Next day, we took an island tour that included a short river cruise and the fern grotto. All lovely.

Loved this island . Wish we had done more here

Our favorite port as you can walk 10-15 minutes to Kalapki beach which is beautiful. Nice grassy area to sit under trees if preferred and Duke’s restaurant beachside. Fun to watch the surf riders.

Took a 5-hour bus tour. Hard to understand the coach driver; spent a half hour at the crater.

Not much to do

Not much to do at the port. Recommend an excursion

Do not miss a Helicopter Flight with doors off, via Airbourne. It was the absolute best!! We also took a full day tour with Tours by Locals. It was a fabulous day.

Rented a Turo and drove around the island. Cheapest location for macadamia nut/candies was Costco.

Went to Waimea canyon and it was breathtaking. I had not been to the Grand Canyon before seeing this so this was one of the most beautiful places I had ever seen.

Didn't get to see this island at all We waited hours in the heat for a shuttle and the line was hardly moving so we turned around and went back on the ship and so did many other people...very disappointed
