One was there one day vice the two scheduled due to mechanical breakdown in Hilo.

Our ship missed the first day due to repairs so we missed the Waimea Canyon and a Luau. We did the Fern Grotto through the ship, but was very disappointed. Would not do that again.

Didn't have enough time because we lost a while day due to mechanical issues with the ship. The weather wasn't great, beaches were closed because of recent flooding.

Went to Waimea Canyon. Lovely excursion!

Kauai is my favorite of the islands and the only sad thing is we really only have a day and a half to be there during this cruise.

beautiful beaches and more remote

The ship stays docked here for two days. Some shops and a beach in easy walking distance from the dock. We visited Waimea Canyon via a shore excursion and it was a great trip. We’ve been to Kauai before, but the canyon was impressive and lives up to the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific” nickname. Pictures don’t do it justice.

Wish they would sail along the napali coast again. Going that far and not sailing along the most beautiful piece of the island is a big disappointment!
