Nawiliwili, Kauai Port Reviews

The ship stays docked here for two days. Some shops and a beach in easy walking distance from the dock. We visited Waimea Canyon via a shore excursion and it was a great trip. We’ve been to Kauai before, but the canyon was impressive and lives up to the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific” nickname. Pictures don’t do it justice.

Took the HAL "Discover Kauai" excursion. The flowers in Kauai are everywhere. Fern Grotto was amazing. Again, wish we had a little time to explore on our own.

The best of all the islands. Did the canyon tour with an awesome guide. very pretty island and would go back again someday.

Helicopter tour of the canyon and Napali coast was out of this world. Jack Harter helicopter tour was AMAZING!!

Kauai is tropical heaven. We went on a ship tour that took us to multiple areas on the island where famous movies had been shot. What made it so interesting is that we saw short clips of the movies on the small bus before arriving at the sites. This was an expensive tour--but well worth it. Also had a fantastic lunch at a local burger place.

We know Kauai so we rented a car independently. Drove up to Anahola Beach for private and quiet location, then to Poipu for lunch.

This place is Uh-MAZING!! So lush, peaceful and soul-feeding beautiful! I recommend a private tour into the rainforest and a visit to the fresh water springs along this beautiful river in the rainforest! Sigh...I want to go back!
