made it all the way on the Road to Hana. If your vehicle can take it (several miles are unpaved, and the paved aren't in the best shape), continuing through Hana and around the island back to Lahaina provides a completely different landscape but just as breathtaking views of the ocean. We were able to make it all the way around and make it back in time

We rented a car and went to Kapalua beach, much more quiet and beautiful than Ka'anapali! We also drove to Ka'anapali and Waialea, we did not think that the beaches on Waialea were worth the ride.

We rented a car, with another couple had a great time driving the Island. We visited the creater and the pineapple plantation. They also have a wal mart to pick up supplies

Wow- our Princess snorkel excursion used all day- rough waters on tenders, small fishing craft used — the snorkel site was 2 hours away and coral was under 35-40’ of water. Clear but with or without glasses- saw very little. Boat handlers were fishing off back- caught small tuna, got blood all over my legs. Boat was over crowded. Lunch was tough- sandwich makings in a boat being tossed around- had to hang on. 20 minutes left when back to “see” Maui. Awful

You'll WASTE most of the day waiting for the tender. It's RIDICULOUS. Everything here is too touristy and expensive. After the disappointment, we had to wait about 2 hours (no exaggeration!) to get back on the ship. Even if you like this port, your plans to go ashore twice will not be realized...
