Who doesn’t love Maui? I had a full day here. Started by booking a sunset sail on the Scotch Mist sailboat. Then I walked to the Dojo Buddhist Mission about 15 minutes north off of Front Street. Baby Beach is right behind it so after seeing the big gorgeous Buddha statue, pagoda, temple, and bell, I walked back to the beach for a couple hours. There were families there as the water is so calm. I saw turtles swimming right up near the shore and people snorkeling off the beach. Then I was hungry so I walked a little further to a great lunch spot called Moku Roots. Very environmentally conscious and excellent food. I had a falafel salad and it was quite possibly the best salad I’ve ever had in my life. It’s in a strip mall shopping center but really tasty. After that I crossed back over the street and grabbed a spot on the two dollar bus back to the wharf. I was feeling a little sluggish so I grabbed a Badass Coffee and walked back to the waterfront to check in for my sail and relax with my coffee for a bit. Perked me right up. I boarded the boat, only 20 of us on board, and had a beautiful, champagne filled, adventuresome two hour sail. It was a pretty perfect day!

We were here two days. Great. Make sure to go to the crater. It was so cloudy at the top. No sunset but coming back now. It blows your mind the cloud formation and the sunset. Fantastic. Beaches are great as well.

Booked a terrible excursion! Do not book the Road to Hana!!! You will spend all day on a tour bus and only get to experience this island thru a bus window!

We arrived on a rainy day with high surfs so we didn't snorkel as planned. There are many tourist shops near where the tenders arrive that were nice. The highlight for us was going to the Old Lahaina Luau, which was EXCELLENT!

trouble with getting people off ship. On going trouble in Lahaina we heard. With hours delay getting off non-Princess activities had to be cancelled
