The tender situation made it rough. The way they handled it was crazy. Don’t plan a morning excursion and it will save you a lot of stress. Snorkeling was incredible!

We did the Kona Sportfishing tour. Although we did not get any nibbles from the big reels, we did manage to catch a small ahi (yellowfin tuna) and aku (skipjack tuna). It's called fishing for a reason - no guarantees you'll catch anything, but our captain's helpers did their best.

Went on the Secret Waterfalls of Kohala tour and did some hiking and saw several waterfalls. Got to swim in one. Very beautiful tour.

Having visited Kona extensively in prior years, and as we anchored out from port, I chose to stay onboard ship for these 2 days.

Every stop was great except the process of getting into and back on ship in Kona. That was not handled very well and could REALLY use some improvement! Loved Kona!

It’s a tender port. Nothing but shopping and eating at port. Car rental is not convenient.

We did an enjoyable historical tour, tried Kona coffee and rum cake.
