We took an Lyft to Mountain Thunder Coffee. Good time and fun info. Coffee is outstanding. Had lunch at Kona Brewing, very good. This was our slow day where just hung around the port. Lots to do and see.

was hard to get to for a handicapped person.

Smaller port with more beautiful scenery. We tried to find a tour at the cruise port, but there were no "independent" operators to be found. We ended up taking the ship's "glass bottom boat" tour that was entertaining, but a shorter duration than we expected.

Didn't seem like much to do here. But we did book this trip at the last minute with little time to do my normal research. We did a Hop On Hop Off bus that we purchased at the port.

The best snorkeling right off the pier

Also an older town, but nice place to spend a day with plenty of shops and dining

we did a 5 1/2 hour bus tour, kona coffee tour very interesting, loved the sea turtles, was supposed to include a snorkle , but it turned out to be a beach at the seaport and we had to go rent gear ourselves, the price of excursions and this was not included, cute little downtown area to wander around, only place we would consider returning to

On our own. Took an Uber to Walmart to buy souvenirs. Best value, other than ABC Stores. We have been to Kona before...
