We plan on renting a car to drive the road to Hana. Does anyone know which rental places have shuttles to and from the rental place? I’m sure there will be taxis available just trying to simplify it.

Took a guided tour, the tour guide was awesome. Then we went to Waikiki Beach area and explored, it was awesome!! Hawaii is simply beautiful!!!!!!! The weather was perfect.

Port was not around anything. No transportation is provided to leave the ship.

Try to utilize public transportation to get to and from the beach to the ship. its only $1!

We went up to the crater, and getting off the ship was easy and the excursions lines were well marked. It is an industrial port so no nagging vendors, but it is a walk to to get out of the port. You really need an excursion here as there is no beaches within walking distance.

We didn't get to go to Maui for 2 days due to high seas. So we weren't able to do the sunrise tour we had planned. We were disappointed in this. We were not notified of this change by our travel agent or NCL. We did not know know about this change until we boarded the ship. It also changed the time we left the port. The ship didn't leave port until midnight. If we would have known this ahead of time, we could have spent more time in Waikiki before boarding the ship.
