We spent 2 days there and had a good time. Retired veterans can get a great deal with a Luau at the Hale Koa for about $100. Stay away from the Hop-on Hop-off. It's a big waste of money.

I had the honor of visiting Pearl Harbor, a place that holds a special significance for anyone who has worn the uniform. Standing on those hallowed grounds, I felt the weight of history and the deep sense of sacrifice made by so many. As taps played, I couldn't help but tear up, thinking of the courage and commitment of the men and women who gave their lives that day. It was a powerful reminder of what it means to serve and to protect the freedoms we hold dear. I’m grateful for the opportunity to pay my respects and honor their memory. It was an experience that I will carry with me always.

Went to Pearl Harbor and that was really good. It was a very overwhelming experience to read about that morning and all who were lost. Vidited the Dole Pineapple plantation which was interesting and then went to a Luau that night. It was very commercialized which was disappointing. But driving around the scenery is lovely and very lush.

Rent a car and go to the North Shore. It is spectacular "real" Hawaii.

We did a city stay after our cruise in Honolulu and I could not recommend it more. Oahu gets a bad rap because of the big city but we found it had so much to offer. Diversity, nature, stunning beaches, activities around the clock, & incredible restaurants to name a few. We used the Shaka guide app and did the island loop and South shore tours. It was 1000% worth the $5 download and the car rental. There's no way we would have found even half of what we saw on our own. We needed more than three days to see everything by a long shot though. I can see why this is the most populated island. I can see us visiting here time and time again.

We rented a car & drove around the island, really enjoyed it. Visited the dole pineapple factory which was nice, saw the north shore and people surfing and enjoyed the sun up there. It rained in Honolulu both days we were in port. The cultural center was to expensive to visit for just 1-2 hours that we had available.
