tour of honolulu

We did a 3 day stay on Oahu, in order to see Pearl Harbor, the North Shore, eat at Hula Grill and relax before the cruise. Oahu is not my favorite of the islands, but it does have a lot of nifty stuff.

We did not book an excursion as we had previously visited Honolulu

Always love Honolulu. A go back to place.

Did our own excursion here and it was excellent. We mapped out one day where we visited Diamondhead, Makapuu Lighthouse, Tropical Farms, Waimea Valley, Dole Plantation and other scenic stops along the way. Another day we spent at Kauloa Ranch (a must see).

Waikiki and Pearl Harbor were fun and interesting.

Plenty to do on Oahu, have been several times before. Always something to do. Disappointed for others who wanted to tour Arizona, Missouri, etc., and were not able to schedule within time allotted ashore.

We went to Pearl Harbor. Truly amazing. Very somber and super informative. The Arizona and the walking tour are must dos. So much to learn. They do a very good job of recreating the day through the words of survivors. We always have had a huge appreciation for the our military but we left with a renewed sense of gratitude for the sacrifices our soldiers make all over the world.
