We saw it from our helicopter but when we cruised by it on the ship, the next day, it was too foggy to see it. I felt bad for everyone that missed it!

There was no active lava flow. This was not communicated well by Norwegian. We had to ask. Disappointed since first time in years and years there has been no active lava flow.

Absolutely beautiful as we sat on the 11 deck port side to listen to the Hawaiian Ambassador talk about the coast.
