Scenic Tallin- Great bus tour -- lovely architecture and tour of town- stop at a park was really not necessary and took from other time

Great excursion, our guide was great!

We feasted on the architectural splendor of the Old Town, Tallin. We did a walking tour of the old town on our own. There were many historic churches, plazas and squares and fascinating vistas. We did some shopping and ate at a local cafeteria style eatery serving traditional Estonian food. I had meat filled dumplings in cream mushroom sauce. DELICIOUS!

Talinn is a charming city that is meant to be taken at a slow pace to enjoy the medieval architecture. I enjoyed my bike ride through a national park, and my wife had a pleasant time making chocolate. We met up in the old town to enjoy the narrow streets and cute shops, catching the provided bus shuttle back to the ship.

We have been before and you can walk in, but we took the shuttle bus. We headed for the viewing point which overlooks the walled city but found that building work was going on so we had to go around the corner for the next one. Lots of cobbles and hills so beware. Go to the shops just off the main roads and they are a lot cheaper.

No excursion. Very limited information from carnival in all ports for people who do not do excursions
