Ponta Delgada, Azores Port Reviews

The only reason Ponta Delgado did not get 5 stars... we were in port on Sunday and not much was open. There was not a lot to do because of this. But it was a beautiful place and our tour guide was great... except that he kind of left us on our own to get back to the ship. He did not give us a specific place to meet to catch the tour bus back to the ship... just told us "down the street a bit". We ended up walking back to the ship (which was not that far and was not a hardship) but he should have been more specific about meeting the bus...

So beautiful and different- our 2nd time in a year

Beautiful island. We took the Hot Springs & Botanical Gardens excursion. The Gardens are gorgeous. Just wish we could have spent longer there.

We did a buggy tour which was great to see the land. Got dirty. Had fun.

Private excursion; worked fine; not the most interesting port.
