I like the shopping there

Long drive on bus, be sure you get information from your tour guide when you do your tours! I was left in Sorrento and had no information to locate the group, was lucky that the meeting place was familiar with the cruise line and the guides and they were able to locate the bus for me. I was totally panicked . Ship Excursion desk would not offer me any compensation for being left behind and having to pay additional 20.00 to take a cab to find the bus.

We had to arrange our own transportation to and from Pompeii

We had to walk a lot basically tour bus took us on top of the hill and we had to walk down which was a lot of walking in hot temp

Naples itself was not great but took a train ride to Pompeii which was well worth it. Get the metro to piazza Garibaldi and get the train from there.

Naples was a mess… however our tour was thankfully away from Naples…

We made the Sorrento tour by your own and pizza in Naples. I have been in Sorrento many times before and i like this place. Naples and the pizza place is a no no.
