Location is beautiful and a lot to do nearby (Capri, Sorrento, Pompeii, and Naples itself). Shore excursion quality was bad though, from multiple reports of people we talked to. Consider organizing something on your own.

Took the train to Sorrento.. beautiful area. Many shops and restaurants, with a beautiful beach.

We did an excursion to Mt Vesuvius and Pompeii. The time was very short, a couple(2) more hours would have been nice - we were all worried and had to rush to get back on time. We made it back with less than a half hour to spare.

We did excursion in afternoon to Herculeanurm ruins and it was so impressive to see how well preserved everything was and it’s a working site still excavating and our tour guide was someone who had worked the site so knew the area well.
