Like most of these ports, we have not done La Rochelle. We walked around and it was a cute town but not a whole lot do.

Did a self tour. Easy to walk around.

Will be a nice port, when it is finished. City itself was great, shared a bucket of mussels on the quayside of the old port. Mum could get off and enjoyed it all.

Bus into centre by the cathedral. We had been before. Very picturesque and pleasant town. Lots of outside cafes and shops

Good place to visit although not that much is happening in the town.
