Cadiz (Spain) Port Reviews

We have already been to Cadiz before so we only had a walk around ourselves. It is a lovely port and love going back to Cadiz

We spend 2 days here due to us not going to Vigo and Lisbon. We had a nice walk around the small alleyways and streets.

Visited here a few weeks earlier so just walked around the town

Nice flat island city with ship docking close to town centre. We booked a tour called Andalucian drive, which took us into the hills, then past fields of Bull's bread for bullfighting, had a brief stop for drink then a final stop at the lovely beach resort of Conil. We only had 45 mins here and I would of preferred longer without having the drink stop in the middle of nowhere or avoid drink stop and allow us to get of the coach in the town in the hills to take pics. Time allowed to walk round Cadiz centre after tour. We managed to pay to go into the famous Cathedral and go into the vaults underneath.

My least favourite port out of all the places we visited (but only because the streets all looked the same to me and I got completely lost!) There seemed to be a lot of cultural sites and tourist attractions, but we didn’t book anything and just wandered around till we found the ship again!

We love Cadiz, although it's not a very big place to visit we have always enjoyed this stop. This time we decided to take an excursion to Seville which was the Seville on your own. We had a 2 hour bus journey to Seville where our guide was quite informative about Seville and gave us a map to help us navigate. She also helped a group of us finding the cheaper way to see the sights via the Green hop on hop off bus. Told us where to find free toilets ( Starbucks 😉 there are 3 of them and 1 being near the Cathedral ) Seville was a beautiful place and definitely worth the 2 hour bus journey there.

Love love love Cadiz , beautiful place , little market with hand made jewellery for sale . The old church is beautiful and they have added an old fashioned carousel, which was only €3 .
