Wonderful city, I think everybody should see as many major cities of the world as possible, especially outside one's own country. This one is chock-full of great stuff to see and do; we had been there before, and we STILL found more to do on this cruise, with more left for next time. We took the included excursion, plus the horsemen show, which was fascinating, not just for the skills of the performers but the history as well.

So much history! Tons of cafes and restaurants. Very walkable.

Beautiful coming in at night. Kudos to captain for getting us in before lights go out. Tour guide was not good.

Village of Holloko.. 90 min bus ride to it.. a lot of village was closed due to a holiday- we should have been told .. $$$ however great lunch! Panoramic tour of Budapest was really well done. Great guide

Budapest is striking at night. Being docked there is perfect to catch the entire effect. I didn't do the excursion because my luggage was lost and needed my walking shoes. But there wasn't enough time I think to have enough excursions. something set up maybe for Fishermans bastion or on the Buda side of the river.

Arriving in Budapest at night with the buildings lit up was a magical experience.
