Every included excursion was wonderful and perfectly executed by Viking.

Loved it but we needed more time there

Lost time the 1st day. Budapest by night (extra cost) excursion was not worth it. Guide wasn't knowledgable, bus driver didn't know hos way around and we were supossed to have a rooftop drink at a hotel. It was raining so no rooftop but they had us stand in the courtyard in rain to have a glass of champagne. Next tour was good but we didn't have time in the city to explore on our own.

Spent 2 days before cruise in Budapest. A must see.

Loved the Viking pre-extension stay at the Budapest Hilton. The staff was marvelous and the two excursions were wonderful. Highly recommend going to Holloko in Hungary through the pre extension. Marvelous 14th century village.

We really enjoyed Budapest. It was easy to walk around and there were excellent restaurants by the hotel we stayed at Pre-cruise.

Beautiful city, although a night-time cruise down the Danube past the parliament building (as was done by another cruise line that we took several years ago) would have been a fantastic way to end the cruise.

Too much to see in the rain...and getting excited for Prague!

We started in this location and explored on our own, not with the ship. We loved it and easy to get around. We did the baths (even the beer bath) and walked the city. We enjoyed the market near the ship as well.

Did the included tour but was a bit disappointed in it. This is really the ONLY tour that we considered just "okay." The tour took us to Heroes Square and a church, both were underwhelming. Other historical venues were there that would have been more interesting to visit: parliament building, Buda side cathedral. The market was interesting to visit.
