Had to pack up and move to another ship, long bus ride, forced to go to a market that was awful and wait for hours to board the new ship.

City tour. We stayed one additional night on our own and visited the Parliament, Great Hall, Synagogue, and spa.

We did the walking tour and the Baths. I really enjoyed Budapest and how accommodating they are to tourists.

We so enjoyed our local guide taking us through the Jewish quarter of this beautiful city. She was knowledgeable and animated, and took us for a special pastry tasting. There was so much incredible Jewish history here and the city bridges/skylines are gorgeous. Again, one day in Budapest was not nearly enough for shopping or touring on both sides of the city.

Poor planning on the part of Viking precluded our spending much time here. It was a major disappointment.

City tour was a highlight. Christmas market was nice.

The panoramic bus tour was a little disappointing because it did not show much of Buda and focused on Pest. Later, we had the opportunity to visit that side of the river on our own and noticed that the narrow winding streets there limit travel by coach. If you are intent on visiting Buda--which should not be missed--make your own arrangements or choose a ship's excursion that focuses on it. The walking tour of Pest which followed the panoramic bus tour was excellent and gave us our bearings for further exploration on our own later in the day.

Wonderful. We went on an excursion to see the Budapest in all its glory. Panoramic Budapest.

Another beautiful city. We would have liked to have another day, but we were on to Prague.
