There can be a huge bus line leaving so give yourself time to get to your destination. And people will try to cut in front so be aware.

We were there last month and walked up La Ramblas and back and at a leisurely pace found it doable.

We went to Barcelona in September. A 10 minute walk to Para-lel (line 2) metro takes you straight there without the crowds. Buy tickets online before departure for Sagrada Familia.

The subway system in Barcelona is excellent and will drop you across the street from the Sahara
