We stayed at the majestic hotel in Barcelona and it was spectacular. It’s in the shopping district so very safe. We just took a cab to the port when we left. We stayed for 4 nights before our cruise

If you want inexpensive, Roma Reial is right off Las Ramblas, tucked into a plaza. It's clean and decent with a good breakfast. It's also right next to an entrance to the Gothic Quarter, and there is a great tapas place inside nearby.

we stayed at Hotel Gargallo Rialto, just off las ramblas clean, and not too far from the port.

Sorry. The name of the Hotel is:Hotel Catalonia PortWalking distance to the Columbus Monument, Barcelona and the Palau Güe. They have a great breakfast too.

Go away from port. Only a few blocks away you will find lots if decent places to stay! At port rooms are extremely expensive!!

Hotel Del Mar! Right in the middle of everything and the hop on and off tours stop right by! a bunch of places to eat and shop!
