No excursion, walked around city taking in the sights. One of our favorite stops.

Beautiful

Only got off the ship to walk around.

Den Gamle By is well worth a visit. It is easy to visit without taking an excursion so that you can visit at your leisure.

This was our favorite stop! This city is amazing! We were able to walk to see all of the sights we were interested in seeing. This was the only city that had volunteers all around the city sights to help as needed or to make suggestions. They suggested we walk up to their roof top garden, because the views up there were amazing. They helped us map out how to walk to their new Aros contemporary museum that features a rainbow circular walkway on top of the museum giving you spectacular views of the city! You walk around inside of it. Amazing! Aarhus Cathedral, was a 12th century church they have painstakingly renovated and it was free to go into. It is a must see! We walked all over the city and enjoyed every part of it. Sailing into this city you knew it was going to be a special place. If we wanted to move somewhere else, this would be high on our list.

Another beautiful city. Need to take shuttle and taxi to town.
