El Salvador is a gorgeous country. 100% recommendation. The beaches are very pretty. Perfect for surfers! The food is unique and the people are so kind! If not on a cruise, I definitely recommend going to El Salvador for a vacation. Did not feel unsafe one second!

we went to san salvador. El savador has the nicest people. I definitely would visit again. i discovered papusas.

Not much here. They tried by shuttling us to a tourist area which was very small. Sunday?

This is a VERY poor town. Nice to say you visited, quick walk to look and return to the ship. NOT a place to want to simply hang out in the city

was really impressed what efforts they made to welcome the ship. Very organized with the shuttle into town.
