My wife and I got off the boat and took the water taxi into Toulon. We had a great time walking and shopping. Toulon is a very cool city. Ate some great food and bought some great gifts. Le Comptoir de Mathilde is a neat chocolate and food shop in Toulon

We did ship excusrison to st tropez, Toulon itself was a very concrete port, not much scenery to look at, Toulon however for army loving men or women is frances naval port, so there were lots of naval ships in dock. And naval officers onboard them.

Only liked the restaurant in the port. The little train was a waste of money and time. Not much to see.

RCL wanted 20dollars for the shuttle ferry to town. Take the road train to La Seyne 5 euros then ferry to Toulon 2 euros. stick with the locals! more fun😅

Part of our group took a holland America bus tour to Aix en Provence and loved it. The rest of us took the little tourist bus to the beach and enjoyed the park and water.

Nice small town, the tourist center was well manage and the staff spoke several languages. However, we ended up in a restaurant that no one spoke any other language than France. Shame on me for not learning french in school.
