Stayed close to berth and did not visit Porto. No trips taken, little time ashore.

From Leixoes Port, easy trip on Metro (tram) over the grey bridge, 30 minutes into Trinidade station , then took hop on hop off tour on Red Route, great views of Atlantic Waves crashing onto the shore , then alongside Douro River and passing Vintage Tram (recommended). Saw enough to want to make a return visit

Very nice port, caught hop on hop off bus, and had a good trip, for a reasonable price

Ship docks about 15 minutes away from city. What a pain! Taxis are cheap though.

In Oporto we did the riverfront tram ride and Ribeira quarter walk excursion. The tram ride was an excellent way to see the Ribeira Historical Center with all its colorful buildings. We also had some free time for shopping. The tour ended with lunch and wine.
