We toured Normandy on Princess excursion. Good excursion, nice lunch included. Our tour guide was helpful and very knowledgable. Visiting the sites of the landings during WW2 was sobering!! I'm so glad we chose this excursion

This is the second largest port in France. The city is a World Heritage Site because of its unique post World War II reconstruction & architecture. We thoroughly enjoyed Rouen.

We were dropped in the center of town without any information (map or directions), fortunately the Island Princess was also in port and arrived in the center at the same time so we got information from them.

We walked along the harbour then into the city centre. Plenty of architecture to look at and shops/cafes to visit. The container sculpture is worth seeing. You can't miss it due to the bright colours.

Very underrated! Super charming town UNTOUCHED by WW2 with incredible architecture. Walking tour was nice. Would have liked to see inside a few other building than the wooden church.
