We took the Monet excursion today. It was very beautiful. Again, we wished we had more time to explore. We went to the city of Rouen but because it was Sunday nothing was open. I think we could have spent more time at Monet and skipped Rouen.

The port isn't too bad. It's a small building were you can purchase tickets for the city busses and some other tours. You have to go through a security check.

3 hour bus ride there and back. Were supposed to have 3.5 hours of free time in Paris, but it ended up being about 2-2.5 hours after guided tour on bus. We stopped at Eiffel tower for 10 minutes, and then walked up and down the Champs Elysees before reboarding the bus. Just wish we had more time! It was a long day for only 2 hours of actual Paris time.

We were at this port last year on the Regal Princess and went to Paris with Princess tours for the day. This year we went with Princess tours to a small sea town very interesting.

Took an excursion to Normandy...a can’t miss! Tremendous historical significance. Make sure you take one that includes Hoc’s Point...where American Rangers climbed the cliffs to take out the Nazi machine guns and artillery bunkers.

We rent a car and went to Mont Saint Michel and Lisieux in one day and the next day Le Havre, Deauville and Trouville. Worth it and cheaper than the tour. There is a parking near the Cruise terminal and it costs 6,40€ to leave for 12h at night. Le havre is a calm city but not much to do. Train station is near the cruise terminal.
