Took the local tourist bus to the archaeological sites. Cold day but expected.

Great ship for rough weather. Very stable in lumpy water. Easy to get around, but with limited shopping and on board activities, albeit, this ship was targetted for the older generation. The entertainment was ofa high standard. The food was probably one of the best offerings we have had on P&O ships and there is a good range of drinks available. Drinks prices have increased significantly since last year. Staff are as usual excellent.

Fascinating part of Scotland. We did the Skara Brae tour which was good despite my dislike of coach tours.

Went to Skara Brae and the Ring of Brodgar with ship's tour. I love ancient history so was enthralled. Land is a bit bleak and there was the usual strong cold wind to endure, but an otherwise another great day.

One of the highlights of the entire trip getting to see the Ring of Brodgar and the Stones of Stenness on our tour.

Went to the Italian chapel. Amazing decorations in what was a nissen hut,but changed with panache. For a WW2 geek like me it was incredible.
