The town was lovely and our guide, "Jake," was wonderful; he was very knowledgeable and friendly. When the restaurant we were to go to was full after his presentation was over, he easily shifted gears, took us to another place and filled the time with more interesting stories. He even sang for us!

Attractive town. Spent a pleasant hour with a local family for a tea. The Optional Tulips & Windmills tour was disappointing and grossly misrepresented by Viking as described earlier

Walking tour was excellent, a bit strenuous if not in great shape.

We were unable to dock in Hoorn. Instead we tied up in Enkhuizen and then we were bussed into Hoorn (35 minute buss ride.) The walking tour was OK (paled in comparison to Dordrecht. We attended a folk dance presentation which was good, but too long.
