There is nothing to see in Holyhead. All attractions were on the opposite side of the Island which was a 1.5 hour drive. Oceania needs to pay to dock on the other side.

Suggest Doing An Excursion. Town Very Small So Not Much To Do. But Does Have Restaurants, Bars, & Shopping! Can Take A Nice Long Walk To Mountain Area &/Or Lighthouse But Takes Sometime!

Should rename this Holyhell. Place is a dump. I don't understand why this is even chosen. If you go here, either take a tour outside the town but stay on the ship for a discounted spa day!

This is just too small a stop. Very small town with not much to see. Good to stretch your legs though.

Our tender broke down while on the way to the dock. We spent about 2 hours bobbing around in the damp, cool weather waiting on a rescue. We never got to go on land.

Nice town Friendly Locals.

No excursion offered, though many items of interest on island—formal gardens (Bodnant) scenic drives, etc. Tiny seafaring museum has interesting elderly guide (two small rooms in a tiny house near waterfront.)
