Did the taste of Madeira trip really good with a fantastic guide cable car great experience and the Botonical gardens were great, finished off with the fantastic toboggan ride which was great fun all in all fab morning

starting to think this place has something against us😐 1st time here Sunday everything shut, 2nd time public holiday everything shut, this time - thunder storms & thick mist, I’ll see this place eventually. It looked nice through the rain, thunder & lightning

Cobblestones hard to walk on, but shuttle well worth the $8 and heir lacework is handmade and beautiful.

We took the shuttle in to town and walked back. The town had interesting streets, and the espresso was terrific.

Ship docked here on a SUNDAY. Like Tangiers it was the religious day so many stores and places were closed. Once again the EPIC itinerary was out of step.

We hired a driver to give us a tour of some of the major sites of the area which was excellent.

The scenery was beautiful throughout the island. I enjoyed the markets, the fishing village, and the scenic lookouts.

Taking the ride down in the basket which is steered by two men is a BLAST.... Truly LOVED it..... The botanical gardens to me are a must see.... Loved the Cable Car also...
