Be prepared for a long tender ride and a 30 minute bus ride into Dublin.

Dublin also was great and city tour was okay. Would have liked for NCL to offer a private car and guide as excursion option. My husband has walking issues so private car is best way to see city such as Dublin. Other cruise lines offer a private car excursion option when in port cities for those who wish to pay the premium.

The castle was interesting.

Never got off the boat. Deserves zero stars. Many angry passengers who booked this cruise for this port.

This required taking a local train from the port to city center. The ticket kiosks were ok and there was a local resident to asssist with which options to select. The Pearse St station had most gates locked, make sure you exit where the rail bridge crosses Pearse street or you will end up on the not-so-good part of town. Walking around is the best way to see a lot of things. There are a LOT of panhandlers and bums hanging around.

We did not visit Dublin as too far out, train took 1 hour each way. We climbed Martello tower featured in James Joyce's Ulysses, fantastic views. Tender back was very choppy.

Tenders here were the worst almost 4 hours to get off the boat.
