A 45-minute public train ride from the port. Everything super spread out. Super crazy NY-busy when we got there, and the walk from train, sketch. The hop-on-hop off bus had incredibly long waits (1/2 hr between stops?) - we gave up. I'd try this stop again with an organized excursion next time.

We walked and took a local tourism bus all around the city and enjoyed the sights. My favorite part was seeing the Long Room in the library at Trinity College. It was AMAZING and had a good gift shop, but the tickets are only available online, so do this in advance.

Loved the tendering. Went to Bray on the train to avoid the crowds.

got on train and went into Dublin and did a hop on hop off there. the Tener situation in the evening was mismanaged. The ship was more interested in getting their supplies back on instead of the long line of passengers waiting.

We were disappointed that Dublin did not have more to offer. Yes we did a tour.

We did the hop on hop off but they ended options to get back to the ship 4 hours before departure so if you wanted to stay in town longer you had to get back on your own. You had to take tenders and it was a rough sea day-kind of dangerous. Okder passengers were in tears.

The local town centre wasn't too far you had to take a train which I think took about 20 minutes it cost €6.50 pp for a return. All the locals are lovely they love to chat to newcomers very generous they would put you up for a night if you meet the right person but don't do whisky tasting on breakfast.
