Had to pay a lot per person to have a decent tour of such a huge city. the included was a train ride and they dropped you in Berlin to see what you can. Another disappoinment that you have to spend so much money to see something worth while

We spent our time in Rostock and Warnemunde and they were OK.

We did the “Berlin on your own” excursion. The train was right by the ship. The staff on the train were informative and friendly with good snacks on the trip. It was a three hour train ride there and three hours back. A long day. Berlin was fine. A very modern city and the history is sad. It was a once in a lifetime experience. We did not spend any time in the port.

Cool but not like spectacular and Berlin would be a 3 hour each way journey.

Only way to visit Berlin requires train or pre arranged tour. The major problem is transportation is approximately 3 hours each way , leaving little time actually in Berlin. We chose a tour that included a 90 min visit to Sachsenhausen concentration camp prior to visiting the city of Berlin. It’s a MUST!

We were unable to get a guided tour for Berlin and so explored on our own. I feel like we missed a lot because we spent so much time trying to get oriented and figure out how to get back to the meeting point. Definitely recommend a guided tour.

Lovely little town. Nice streets and great beach. Stopped for a beer and sandwich. Easily walkable from ship.

The trip into Berlin was a very long train ride there and back. A train that had many cruise passengers on it was delayed for 3 hours causing the cruise ship to have to wait for them.

Rostock was beautiful and fun. Donor kebabs were stellar! Not to be missed.

Ah, East Germany. We chose not to take the 2.5 hour train to Berlin. 5-hours on a train didn't seem like a good time. The port was OK. picturesque is the best way to describe it.
