This was our second time here. Beautiful city. This time we went to Sverres Borg Trondelag Folkmuseum. It was excellent! Took bus 11 from Nidaros Cathedral.

We walked to the town centre which was about 15-20 min, but the nearest information centre was closed! We took bus 11 to visit Trondelay museum in Sverresborg, which was a 15 min ride cost 42nok valid 1.5 hour. An unexpected sunny dry day made it very pleasant for the outdoor museum, then we finished with the 3 indoor museum, a very worthwhile visit

Fun city to walk and explore. No excursions needed here.

Take the short walk to the cathedral we had a sunny day walked passed the harbour with all the yachts was pretty. A city port with quaint shops nice little streets

Great day at the folk museum. You can get the 11 bus but need cash which we didn’t have tried to download the atb app to buy bus tickets but that only works if you have a Norwegian credit card! The bus driver was amazing and let us on the bus to the museum. The museum was great want worth the visit. The Uber back was only 170 NOK. Highly recommended.

Walked from the boat to the cathedral. The day we were there was a local market and big university trade fair right in the centre. It was great. The weather was cracking and I actually got sunburnt!

Self exploration using the Midtbyrunden ..... lots of deckchairs by the waterfront. Port next to the main railway station Beautiful place
