Highlights of Tromso RC excursion

If you get a good tour guide excursion is very interesting. We were lucky

We had an adventure not part of the ship excursions. We visited a Sami family and the reindeer. Feeding reindeer and learning about the Sami culture was the best experience of our cruise.

Just went to the airport

Wonderful port to visit. Large city with lots to see and do.

The main town is pretty but walking over the bridge to the artic cathedral and cable car is a bit of a trek

Snow and ice. Once again, city center is a walkable distance. The bus tour was good and included a stop at the Planetarium which provides an excellent show on the Northern Lights.

Expensive

Walked in town and experienced the northern lights excursion which was beyond our expectations.

Did an excursion to Sommaroy Island from Tromso very good with lovely scenery along the way. There was a shuttle bus into Tromso from the ship.
