Skolden, Norway is an idyllic village on a fjord. The ship docks next to farms and we were able to watch and hear the sheep just outside the balcony. We were able to book on the ship tour "Skoldgen Mountain Tour". Even my husband (who hates tours) admitted that the scenery was breathtakingly beautiful. Lots of hairpin turns and steep drop offs. Very enjoyable port--many people just walked off the ship and walked to local waterfalls (several miles away) or just walked around the small village.

Not much to do here unless you book an excursion. The scenery is amazing even though it rained solid throughout the whole day and we enjoyed the walk around, most people were back on ship within an hour or 2 but that was probably because of the weather, it was dreadful but not Skjolden’s fault
