We rented a car here. I might suggest a tour, though. The roads are single lane, two way, and difficult to navigate. Check out Trip Advisor for better ideas.

We absolutely loved the Isle of Skye. So beautiful and charming. All excursions were booked until after we got on the ship, so we booked a private tour and had a fabulous time.

Skye is a very special place full of fairies, don't say thank you and run the risk. Beautiful Castles, lakes, just incredible

Stagecoach stops at the town square. You can take the bus (stagecoach) it will take you around the island for about two hours. You can also take another out to the castle.
