Gorgeous city

We hit this city on another holiday. Tourist area full of ice cream shops and amber stores. The history was interesting. The ship was parked next the World War II Memeorial which was interesting but needs some upgrades.

Gdansk was exceptional. The history and beautifully reconstructed city were incredible.

We chose to take the Celebrity Shuttle to the Gdynia train station to get to Gdansk. That was a little confusing, but worked out great. Gdansk Old town area was fantastic. Then we ventured to a newer section that was even better. We had great beer and Polish food. We would've liked more time here.

Here is where Viking shines! There was a warehouse fire in the port of Gdańsk so we were re-rerouted to Gdynia. Everything was seamless, from the docking to the excursions. We visited Malbork Castle and the city of Gdańsk. It’s always fascinating and uplifting to see how countries recovered after WW2.
