The people in little Fredericia a are so excited to see the ship come in. the band plays when we arrive and leave, and they shoot off cannons, the friendly people are easy with directions. It only takes 2 hours see whole town, so do this in the afternoon on the way back to the ship after you have taken a train trip to Kolding to see Koldinghaus castle. 10 min train ride (easy to buy $6 ticket sold in machine in train station that is in english or what ever language you need) train station is a 20 min walk from pier

We didn't book an excursion as the town is small and easy walking. Enjoyed a free day to explore on our own. Very pretty town and interesting old fortifications to stroll along.

Walk the wall around the whole town viewing the exercise equipment (unusual) and the lovely beach.

Not much to see, other than the city ramparts. But we did our own walking tour and had a nice lunch. We walked by the beach but didn't try swimming there.

Almost the same as Skagen, a bit larger and easy to walk around - we did find a very nice local bakers for our Danish... also found an Army exhibition of radio equipment which was free and very good and a toilet to use.

Why did we go here? Dying town was very quaint/friendly but no one knew why we were there.
