Absolutely loved Copenhagen! Beautiful city, so much to see and do. Don't miss the little mermaid or the Gefion fountain. Tivoli Gardens is more funfair than gardens but great atmosphere. Beautiful city.

lovely port with the Tivoilly Gardens in the center of the town. Drinks are a bit expensive but you can find some nice quaint places to eat and drink reasonably

While we did not go on a ship excursion, we spent several days in Copenhagen before and after the cruise. We enjoyed the sightseeing which we did on the Hop-on and Hop-off bus. The people in the city are friendly and willing to help with directions and offer recommendations.

Chilly/slight rain so didn't rent bikes to tour around. Took HOHO bus from port instead which got you into center. Easy to get around that way. Christianhvan is cute to walk around and diff than downtown. Free town a bit of a walk but interesting/diff community there. Didn't have time to explore the gardens/palaces but they looked beautiful.

While visiting Copenhagen, if you have a full day then drive up north to visit Kronborg Castle, the setting for Hamlet. The paintings and tapestries are beautiful and seeing the rooms people lived in hundreds of years ago. On the third floor (I think) there is even a medieval indoor bathroom

Came to Copenhagen 3 days before cruise to see the sites. Toured Kronborg and Frederiksborh Castles thru a private tour company. Highly recommend an early arrival or a stay after your cruise.

Beautiful and friendly city. We took advantage of the hop on hop off bus that was available as we excited our ship. The bus was a great way to see the highlights on our own schedule and pace. Evening canal cruise was well worth the paid ship excursion.
