We had been to Cork on a previous cruise. We found ourselves having a better time in Cobh, so this time, we just walked around town and had a pint of Murphy's Stout.

Blarney Castle is great and no need to go up if you don't want to kiss the stone! The gardens and area around are so cool! We could have spent the whole day there. If you go to Kinsale, get lunch at Kitty O'Se. Best meal we had on our whole trip!

Amazing port glad it's a docking not a tender port. We booked our tour thru Viator and it was worth it. Got to see more than most and got to the Blarney Castle early and was able to climb to the top to kiss the stone, when many that booked thru NCL got there an hour later and only had 2 hours and it was over a 2 hour wait into the Castle.

Fantastic little city, train ride from cobh to cork is only about 15 minutes and cost €4.60 per person and very easy to use. No need for an excursion if you are just going to town.

Hired our own guide for the day. Took us to all the places one should go to ( and then much more ) as well as beating the busses in doing so. Best way to see Cork.

Just such a gorgeous little seaside town. I stayed in Cobh as I was visiting a friend I used to work with there and I do not feel like I missed out with not going into Cork City. It was wonderful!
