I have to strongly recommend paying extra for a private Van Gogh Museum tour guide. My family of 4, including a 12 and 14 year old, loved it! Stephanie, an Art teacher by profession, did a tremendous job of engaging my children. She made Van Gogh’s paintings come alive for all of us. We learned so much!

Amsterdam is always good, rained all day. You need a good two full days to enjoy and see Amsterdam. It is becoming a little too much touristy. Best to see it walking

Tip from Local expat, Have a hop on, hob off Canal Bus tour. Go To Anne Frank house and have lunch at Black and Blue around the corner at Leliegracht.

Beautiful city but filled with vice and a breathable atmosphere of marijuana. They say it's a short walk to town but it's not especially in cold rainy weather. Cunard should have provided a free shuttle but instead left us to get soaked in the rain during a 15 minute walk. If you enjoy breathing marijuana instead of oxygen this port is for you!

Amsterdam is a beautiful, but seedy town. We did a bus+canal excursion tour, which was a great way to get a feel for the city. You have to watch what you buy at coffee shops though. Some of the treats are cannabis infused.

Spent two days here after debarking. Transportation in NL is excellent. If you have time, take the train to Harlem (30 min). The best day of our trip!!!!

Cruise terminal is just a few steps from central station; very convenient car parking just below cruise terminal. City is very nice, although a bit overrated IMHO

The approach to the cruise terminal from the railway station was not well marked. At one point we went down the ramp to the small ship terminal then had to climb up the steep stairs (with heavy luggage) to get back to the ramp that went to the main cruise terminal .
