The comment is for all the ports we visited. Each and every port was fabulously in itself and the tours both included and optional were great and very informative, but if it were possible, more time should have been available to explore on our own as well.Also, maybe the optional tours should have included more sites and visited more places in each port. Perhaps offered as an "extended Optional" tour.

We enjoyed the old historic center. Made a point of learning how to use the very efficient public transportation system. The ticket kiosk staff were very helpful with this. Travelled to Utrecht to visit the DeHaar Castle: worth the trip.

We loved Volendam and the dutch are very friendly people. South Africans can relate very well to the Dutch.

Favorite city in the Netherlands. Hermitage is within walking distance. No excursion as I am Dutch and have been there many, many times.

Beautiful city that truly is "Bike City". I've never seen so many bikes in one place. Be aware of the bike laws and bike lanes as they have the right away.

Purchase Holland Pass to skip lines and get into museums easily. Beware of bikers!! they are everywhere and do not stop.
