WOW! What a stunning location! Not a whole lot to do, but very well worth it. My family and I are all very well-traveled and sadly not easily impressed, and we were all blown away with the beauty of Portofino. Very touristy in the city, but the views were unmatched. No excursion.

Very beautiful. Walked up to castle but closed for function. Continued on to lighthouse. Back into the square and then along coastline in opposite direction. Very nice walk. Go out early to avoid lunchtime crowds.

Not easy to get to with the Tenders, long lines to return. Not a very big port for such a large cruise ship. Once there is beautiful; but crowded due to size compared to ship.

The best port. Tender into pier. Beautiful coloured buildings around the bay. Nice cafes and restaurants. Shops. Castle at top of hill.

Very cute and the tender to shore was smooth and safe. I did the excursion to Margarita

We had an excursion. We got to the theater on time and we were sent to the tender. After the tender, we went to the boat to take us to the boat. Then we sat for an hour or so. But they did not add an hour to our tour. We were supposed to go to Genoa. We got to Genoa, drove around a bit, we got out and walked around 1 block and had just a few minutes of free time. We were all gypped out of time. The cruise line gave us 50% back. Probably not enough, but we were tired of fighting by that time.

Absolutely stunning. We visited Portofino, Santa Margherita and Rapallo.

Again, we did our own thing there. Walked around, poked in the shops by the harbor, had an amazing lunch, then talked one of the locals into taking us out on his boat for a short cruise around the coast. Great to see it from that perspective. I think we paid him $100 euros for four of us for about 30-45 minutes.
