Wee flew in 4 days early to see Rome. We did all the high points and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Spent half day around Rome, Sunday was crazy busy. Didn’t spend time around port just boarded ship.

They set our flight back at 12pm we were unable to see anything. Did the airfare with NCL. DON'T DO IT THEY WERE THE WORST PART.

Hard to get to with all your luggage from the airport and expensive if you do not use public transportation.

As a port it's beautiful and worth staying the night pre or post cruise if you don't want the hour long journey to Rome. Disembarking was just poorly organised with massive queues for the bus. Took a cab only €6 per person (6 people required) to the train station.
