Used Consorizo Shuttle private car. Picked up at hotel to Citavecchia. Then picked up at port to hotel. Fabio was very helpful, tips on sites, dinner and getting sro7 d Rome.

I took the tour at the end of my cruise with drop off at the airport. This was a awesome tour with a lot of walking. But we got to see all the big sites, but didnt have enough time to go inside the colisumen.

We were crazy and did Rome in Day! The worst part is trying to get into Rome, it take about 90 minutes to get from the ship into Rome no matter what you do, but we took the train. Its a little confusing, but just ask someone for help! We then went the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Roman Forum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon (a must see) and then we went over the Vatican City and bought tickets in advance to see inside and saw the Sistene Chapel!

Got private tour through Smart Cruise Tours. Its was great. Definitely try to get skip the line tickets to any museum you plan to visit. We was visiting Vatican museum it was amazing.

We did the Ultimate Rome tour and were impressed with everything we got to see and do. Although it was a 10-hour tour, it seems that we barely got to scratch the surface of this area. It made us want to go back.

Rome is wonderful and beautiful and BUSY! We have been before so we decided to take a different type of tour from the Ship’s Excursions - Roman Holiday. Unfortunately, the tour description was NOT the tour we were given so we were all very frustrated. The ship made things right by all of us and refunded half of all our fees! Well done Holland America! Thank you Veendam and please get that your running?🤷♀️ It would be AWESOME!!!🤗
