Rome was excellent. It did seem a little strange that the latest boarding time was 3:30 p.m. when the ship sailed at 7p and several people came hours after we did. It would have been nice to have had another two hours to visit the port.

We hired a driver, was at the Vatican for the blessing by the Pope, and saw many wonderful sites.

Don't bother going into Rome during summer months, starting in early May. Crowds massive, 4 hour wait to get into most sites.
