We just caught the train there, but we had a rough time getting transportation from the port. We had too much luggage for the bus and there were only cars that had been reserved already, no taxis that we could get at the port. Whatever you do for the rest of your stay, we would definitely recommend reserving transportation to town.

We cannot recommend The Inn at the Roman Forum highly enough. It was heavenly. Excellent accommodations, breakfast, ambiance, service, within short walking distance to The Colosseum & restaurants. Cannot wait to go back!

Highly recommend Navonna 49. They have a breakfast and bar service and a terrace with amazing views of Piazza Navona. Conveniently located. Rooms are quite spacious and the employees are so friendly and helpful. Loved our stay there. We used Mia Limo for all of our transport needs to/from airport and hotels/port. I rate them 5 star for price but most of all punctuality and friendliness. Wishing you a fabulous cruise vacay!

For transfers, we’ve used Habi Cab Rome to and from Rome and the port. Bruno is very responsive and communicates flawlessly in email in English. They have been cheaper than other companies I researched and very reliable. Contact is bookinghabi@gmail.com
